Rashid Khan was included in the squad, but it is not confirmed if he is completely fit and will play any match. Mujeeb ur Rahman also Returned in Afghanistan squad. Ibrahim Zadran will continue to lead Afghanistan team even with inclusion of Rashid Khan in the squad. on other hand, BCCI included Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma in t20 Squad for Afghanistan. inclusion of Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma make this belief stronger that they will Play T20 world cup this year in USA & West indies. Sanju Samson is also back in T20 squad. Hardik Pandya & Suryakumar Yadav are injured, so, not selected. Shreyas Iyer & KL Rahul are aslo not included in the Squad. 1st match of the series will be played on 11 January 2024, 2nd match on 14 January & 3rd T20i will be played on 17 January 2024. Test & T20 series were Drawn, While ODI series was won by india 2-1. on other hand, Afghanistan was on tour of UAE for 3 match T20 series, Afghanistan won this T20 Series 2-1 after a good competition.
