4th day of U19 Asia Cup, New Cricket Nation, Japan played against Bangladesh, but was not able to trouble Bangladesh. Recently, Japan have shown some progress in Cricket, competed well in Asian games in China. & Qualifying for U19 Asia Cup, itself is a Achievement for Japan, where Cricket was not very popular. However Japan U19 team is facing tough time to compete with Old cricket nations like Sri Lanka & Bangladesh. Bangladesh U19 easily won the match by 9 wickets.
Bangladesh Under 19 won the toss & elected to field, Japan Under 19 got all out on 99 runs. Nihar Pramar was top scorer by Japan U19 with 18 runs of 80 balls, Kazuma Kato-Stafford scored 13 runs of 42 balls, Kiefer Lake scored 17 runs of 38 balls. Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby was best bowler by Bangladesh with 2 wickets for 9 runs, Ariful Islam took 2 wickets for 15 runs & Rohanat Doullah Borson took 1 wicket for 8 runs.
in reply, Bangladesh U19 chased the target without any trouble in only 11.2 overs. Ashiqur Rahman Shibli top scored with 55 runs of 45 balls not out, Jishan Alam scored 29 off 16 balls, Chowdhury Md Rizwan scored 10 runs off 7 balls not out.
