UAE u19 cricket team Tasted their 1st win in U19 Asia Cup 2023. in this Thrilling match, UAE won the toss and elected to field 1st. Sri Lanka scored 220 runs losing 9 wickets. Dinura Kalupahana top scored with 56 runs of 87 balls, Sri Lankan U19 Captain Sineth Jayawardena scored 49 runs of 65 balls, Vishwa Lahiru made 26 runs of 30 balls. UAE international Young cricketer & U19 captain Aayan Afzal Khan was top bowler by UAE with 2 wickets for 38 runs, Omid Rehman took 2 wickets for 48 runs & Hardik Pai bagged 1 wicket for 30 runs.
in response, UAE played some mature cricket, after some thrilling moments, at last UAE completed target in 48.2 overs. UAE top scorer Tanish Suri played important role in this Big victory with 75 runs of 88 balls. UAE captain Aayan Afzal Khan scored 33 runs of 45 balls, but was not able to finish the match. Aryansh Sharma scored 19 runs of 25 balls. at last, Ammar Badami & Ayman Ahamed took responsibility & completed this Historic win for UAE. for Sri Lanka, Garuka Sanketh took 3 wickets for 35 runs, Vishwa Lahiru 1 wicket for 28 runs, & Duvindu Ranatunga got 1 wicket for 40 runs.
UAE is making some rapid progress in Cricket, senior team is getting better, & UAE u19 team is also showing a lot of Talent. UAE’s future in cricket is looking bright. at the end of this year, UAE is set to play against Afghanistan, so we can expect, some youngsters from these U19 teams may get a chance in national teams in UAE vs Afghanistan series.
