India beat South Africa by 78 runs to clinch the series 2-1 without Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma & Jasprit Bumrah! this is a good sign for future of indian cricket. Many big names were missing this series, but youngsters grabbed this oppurtunity very well, & proved their maturity by beating a Strong South African side.
in 3rd match of the series, South Africa won the toss & elected to field. India scored 296 runs for 8 wickets, with help of maiden ODI Century by Sanju Samson, who scored 108 runs of 114 balls. Tilak Verma scored 52 of 77 balls & Rinku Singh 38 of 27 balls. Beuran Hendricks got 3 wickets for 63 runs. Nandre Burger 2 wickets for 64 runs & Wiaan Mulder 1 wicket for 36 runs.
in reply, once again Tony De Zorzi played brilliant cricket. He missed his century by 19 runs, top scored with 81 runs of 87 balls. No other batsmen was able to build the significiant partnership. captain Aiden Markram scored 36 of 41 balls, Heinrich Klaasen scored 22 of 21 runs. Arshdeep Singh continued his good form, grabbed 4 wickets for 30 runs. Washington Sunder got 2 wickets for 38 and Avesh Khan 2 for 45 runs. India vs South Africa T20 series was Drawn, and Test Series will begin on 26 December 2023.
