West indies Once again dominated England! After winning T20 series 2-1 against England, Now West Indies clinched the 5 match T20 series 3-2. There was good a competition between these sides, provided great entertainment, but West Indies proved a better side at the end. & Not to forget, West Indies Failed to Qualify Recently concluded ODI World Cup in india. West indies fans will hope, Winning ODI & T20 series against England will boost WI confidence once again.
In Series Decider, 5th T20i, West indies won the toss & elected to field. England Got all out on 132 runs in 19.3 overs. Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone & Moeen Ali were the English Top scorers with 38 runs of 22, 28 of 29 and 23 of 21 balls respectively. Gudakesh Motie got 3 wickets for 24 runs, Akeal Hossain 2 for 20 and Jason Holder 2 wickets for 24 runs.
But Chase of this small target was not very smooth for West Indies, they lost 6 wickets & chased target in 19.2 overs. Shai Hope played responsibly & Top scored with 43 runs of 43 balls. Sherfane Rutherford 30 of 24 and Johnson Charles scored 27 runs off 22 balls. Reece Topley was best bowler by England, he picked 2 wickets for 17 runs in his 4 overs. Adil Rashid 2 for 21 & Sam Curan got 1 wicket for 13 runs. Gudakesh Motie was player of the match. Phil Salt got Player of the Series award for his 2 Brilliant Centuries!
